STOCKHOLM, Sweden — Stageroom, a technical installation and rental company based here, has been acquired by the Espoo, Finland-based Bright Group, a major entertainment technology services company serving the Nordic region. Stageroom will continue to operate as a separate company and becomes affiliated with Starlight and Lagom & Gott in Sweden, two other companies acquired by the Bright Group.
More details from the Bright Group (www.brightgroupnordic.com):
Bright Group has already a strong position within fixed installations in Norway, and with this acquisition, Bright is entering into the installation business also in Sweden.
“Stageroom is an excellent addition to Bright Group and our Swedish business. Stageroom has a strong position in its segments in Sweden, and coupled with the experience and installation business Bright has in Norway, we have the preconditions for further developing this business in the Swedish market”, says Trond Lutdal, CEO in Bright Group.
“We are very happy about now being part of Bright Group. With the support from the Norwegian installation team, we have the competence and size to deliver even more complex installation projects and to realize our growth ambitions”, says John Wettersten, CEO of Stageroom.
The current owners of Stageroom continue as managers in the company and become shareholders in Bright Group.
Bright Group provides entertainment & event services with rental, installations, and equipment sales in Finland, Sweden and Norway and has revenues of EUR 80 mill and 280 employees. Bright Group is owned by CapMan Buyout IX fund and management.
