A good movie tagline can pave the way for a film. Consider some great ones. For example, three-time Oscar winner “The Social Network” cleverly played on Facebook’s concept to explain the film with its tagline, “You don’t get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies.”
Similarly, many would agree that the tagline of Wes Anderson’s classic film “The Royal Tenenbaums” perfectly captures the story: “Family isn’t a word. It’s a sentence.”
Because for as long as there have been films, there have been film taglines—the good, the bad, and the uninspired.
