AMAZON’S “THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL”Amazon’s upcoming series, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” is casting background actors for a shoot in New York City. Seeking male and female talent to depict both 1950s deli patrons and 1950s “starlets,” production is set for July 27. Pay will be $154/12 hours.
“BURRO”Short film “Burro,” billed as a “gritty drama about a father and son trapped in a drug trafficking operation,” is casting for both those leading roles, as well as three supporting parts. Shooting is slated to begin in late October in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pay will be $125/day.
“OPEN HOUSE”Actors are needed for lead and supporting roles in “Open House,” a short following “a paranoid, emasculated high school custodian who takes desperate measures to protect his job from a poor South Sudanese student.” The project will shoot in September in New York City, and will pay $125/day in addition to meals and travel
